TCC Capital Credits

What are "capital credits"? How do they benefit me?

These are two questions you probably are wondering when learning about your cooperative.

Capital Credits are a cooperatives form of dividends given back to the "shareholders". It is one of the great benefits for joining TCC as opposed to just being a customer with another telecommunications provider.

Members are entitled to voting for the Board of Directors and are allotted Capital Credits based on their spending with the cooperative. This means that the part of TCC's profits that are not reinvested back into the cooperative gets returned to the members. Capital Credits are the maximum possible value for your rate dollar, and your share in the development of an expanding, progressive enterprise that is an active partner in the growth of the this area.

Equity is earned by the members each year from the profits of the business. Eligibility requirements, including minimum years of membership, apply.
