Avoid unexpected repair costs with Wire Care

Wire maintenance protection essentially serves as insurance for the inside wiring you own in your home or business. It's important to remember that a very small monthly fee can save you time, money and hassle in the event you experience problems with your inside telephone wiring and need repairs.

Wire Care is just $1.99 per line, per month

Wire Care will provide you with protection against unforeseeable problems and costs associated with wire and jacks inside your home. Wire Care includes diagnosis and repair to your inside wire and telephone jacks at no additional cost to you. If you do not subscribe to TCC's Wire Care and you experience trouble which is not related to our outside wiring or leased equipment from TCC, you will be charged for service on your inside wiring at the following rates:

Repair Service: $60.00 per hour, minimum 1/2 hour
Material: $15.00 (per jack/wire run)
Repair service minimum applies if we are called to check the line and the problem is on the inside wiring. This minimum is included in service time if we are asked to repair the inside wiring problem.

There is no charge to check or repair damage found between the outside box (NID - see photos below) and TCC, even if you do not have Wire Care. To help determine where a problem may lie, plug a standard corded telephone into the jack in the outside box (NID) to see if you have phone service. If you have service, the trouble is most likely with your inside wiring.
